cia-clients software package provides clients scripts for CIA commit notification on IRC, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cia-clients
cia-clients is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cia-clients package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cia-clients *
You will get with cia-clients package name, version, architecture and description in a table
